I’ve always had a good experience with the providers and staff at this office, so I want to be clear that my concern is only about one interaction. I called today regarding a last-minute scheduling conflict with an appointment, and the receptionist, Alicia, was rude and she abruptly hung up without any acknowledgment or attempt to provide help or clarification. This level of disrespect is unacceptable from someone representing the front desk. I hope management addresses this, because the rest of the team has always been professional and courteous.

I have been a patient with Bellingham Bay FCN for well over 10 years. Both Dr. Laura Fox and currently Dr. Peter Burkill have been my providers. I can’t say enough positive things about both these providers and the office in general. Both doctors always made me feel heard and my concerns addressed in a way that allowed me to be in charge of my health; while giving me the benefit of their wisdom and education. On occasion when my primary wasn’t available for some reason I was always able to see another member of the team. I haven’t found even one of them that weren’t to my liking. They have all been great. The office staff is always friendly and helpful even when dealing with a tech challenged senior patients. The My Chart system in use is complete and easy to navigate. I wish all the care providers in Whatcom county were of the caliber of the Bellingham Bay FCN.

Dr. Burkill is incredible. So kind and knowledgeable, and really listens to you. Love all of the staff too, especially the nurse who always helps check me in (forget her name but she is so sweet!). Have always had horrible anxiety going to the doctor but they have all helped me so much.

I'm really happy to be a patient here. This was an excellent experience from making the appointment to leaving the visit. I appreciate that they have a lab on-site so I don't have to go somewhere else for a blood draw. I feel that I was really cared for here, from everyone I met, that the doctor really cares about my health, and it was the first time in a long time where I felt like a doctor actually listened to me instead of trying to rush me out the door.
